Africa-Press – Ghana. The 2024-25 The Ghana Premier League concluded with Bibiani Gold Stars winning the title on the final day of the season with 63 points.

In total, 585 goals were scored in this season’s competition, with Berekum Chelsea’s Stephen Amankona leading the goal scorer’s chart with 15.

The season saw a total of 387 home goals scored, with 198 away goals.

This season’s league saw only five players achieve a hat-trick: Dreams FC’s Jonathan Nemorden, Medeama’s Kingsley Braye, Gold Stars’ Samuel Attah-Kumi, Kotoko’s Albert Amoah, and Berekum Chelsea’s Amankona.

Asante Kotoko finished the season with the most home wins (13), followed by Gold Stars, Medeama, and Heart of Lions, all with 12 home wins.

Nations FC were the best road team of the season, recording eight away wins, followed by Accra Hearts of Oak with seven away wins.

Reigning GPL Champions Gold Stars recorded six wins on the road, while Dreams FC and Heart of Lions had five away wins each.

FC Samartex 1996 and Vision FC had the most draws (12) in the season, followed by Aduana Stars (11), while Hearts and Kotoko had 10 draws each.

Medeama SC had the most potent attack in the league, scoring 44 goals, while Nations FC and Hearts shared the best defence accolade, conceding 18 goals each.

The season saw a total of 34 red cards, with match officials issuing over 890 yellow cards.
