Africa-Press – Ghana. President John Dramani Mahama has announced that his Zimbabwean counterpart, President Emmerson Mnangagwa will begin a three-day state visit to Ghana from Wednesday, April 1 to Friday, April 3.
“I am looking forward to the upcoming State Visit to Ghana by His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe,” President Mahama said in a statement.
He noted that the 1 to 3 April visit would celebrate the historic bonds between Ghana and Zimbabwe.
“We are two countries whose destinies have been intertwined since the liberation struggles that shaped modern Africa,” President Mahama stated.
Hea added, “Our steadfast support for Zimbabwe’s independence movement remains a proud legacy that continues to shape our bilateral relations.
“Welcome to Accra, President Mnangagwa, and let us work to enhance the strategic partnership between our two nations.”
