Africa-Press – Ghana. Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus has been included in Ajax’s squad for the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League. The 22-year-old was close to leaving the Eredivisie champions in the summer transfer window, after agreeing personal terms with English club Everton.
However, Ajax prevented the Ghanaian midfielder from joining the Toffees. Mohammed Kudus has struggled for game time this season, but saw 45 minutes of action against Cambuur on Sunday.
With Ajax facing Rangers in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, Kudus could make his first start of the season. Ajax are in the same group with Rangers, Liverpool and Napoli. Below is Ajax’s team for the UEFA Champions League:
