Africa-Press – Ghana. Four of the five players to have switched nationality in June as announced by the Ghana Football Association trained with the Black Stars for the first time.
Ghana play Brazil and Nicaragua during this September international friendly window as part of preparations ahead of the 2022 World Cup to be staged in Qatar. The team opened camp on Monday with Ghana coach Otto Addo getting 80 percent of his squad to begin preparations ahead of the game.
Inaki Williams (Atletico Bilbao), Tariq Lamptey (Brighton) and Stephan Ambrosius (Karlshruher) the new players in the team took part in their first training session under Coach Otto Addo.
The new players were given a warm reception by the technical team and also introduced to the other players by the captain Andre Dede Ayew. The Black Stars play first against Brazil at the Stade de Oceane, Le Havre on Friday before taking on Nicaragua four days time.
