Africa-Press – Ghana. Ghanaian musician Emmanuel Kwadwo Oware, known by his stage name as Ayisi, has won the Record of the Year award at the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
He won the Record of the Year award for his inspirational and inspiring song “Can I Live?” which has gained extensive airplay in recent months.
Despite missing out on Songwriter of the Year and Best Male Vocal Performance award, Ayisi thanked fans who voted for him.
Ayisi stated that he felt honoured to be recognised for his efforts throughout the review year and thanked the organisers of the awards, Charterhouse Productions.
On the awards night, Ayisi demonstrated his unique stagecraft and thrilled the audience with an energetic performance.
His outstanding performance earned him plaudits, with fans hoping that his display would be a new beginning in his stellar music career.
