2026 World Cup Q: Black Stars Mentally Ready for Chad and Madagascar – Kofi Adams

Africa-Press – Ghana. Ghana’s Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has expressed confidence in the Black Stars’ readiness for their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.

Following their failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, the Black Stars are determined to avoid further disappointment and secure a spot in the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

In an interview with 3sports, Kofi Adams emphasized the team’s preparedness and called on Ghanaians for support.I want to call on Ghanaians to support the team. I know we’re going to win both games. The players are well energized, well prepared and psychologically I believe they are ready for both games we’re ready for the two matches and we will win” he stated.

Ghana is currently tied with Comoros on nine points in Group I of the World Cup qualifiers, but Comoros holds the top spot due to a superior goal difference. Other teams in the group include Chad, Madagascar, Central African Republic, and Mali.The Black Stars will begin their training camp in Accra on Monday, March 17, 2025, ahead of their clash with Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, March 21, 2025. They will then travel to Morocco to face Madagascar on Monday, March 24, 2025.
