Africa-Press – Ghana. Apostle Joseph Felix Kwesi Mensah, the Chairman of the Executive Council of the Great Commission Church International (GCCI) has asked Christians to forgive one another and to be reconciled to each other in Christ Jesus.
Apostle Mensah gave the advice in his homily at the climax of the 35th Annual National General Council Meeting (ANGCM) of the GCCI Ghana at Adenta near Accra on the theme “Is the GCCI Culture Delivering the GCCI Mandate?”
The four-day meeting, which began on Thursday, ended on Sunday, November 30, 2025, was attended by over 145 ministers and their wives, elders and national representatives of the Children, Junior Youth, Senior Youth, Women and Men’s Ministries of GCCI Ghana.
Speaking on the topic: “The 12 Attributes of the Early Church”, Apostle Mensah quoting from the Bible said: “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost”.
0-0x0-0-0#Apostle Mensah emphasised that the Church was a gathering of human beings and that they would always offend each other but there was the need for them to forgive one another in Christ Jesus.
He noted that being filled with the Holy Spirit would enable believers to forgive one another and be reconciled to each other in Christ Jesus.
Apostle Dr Samuel Vincent Ansah, the Chairman of the Ghana National Council of GCCI, who administered the Holy Communion, told the Council that as they took the Holy Communion, it marked the genesis of the 2025/2026 Ecclesiastical Year of GCCI and urged them to always remember that they had a covenant keeping God behind them.
