Africa-Press – Ghana. Ghanaian football legend Asamoah Gyan has revealed his favourite Black Stars teammate, selecting Kwadwo Asamoah for his exceptional qualities both on and off the field.

Gyan, who has shared the pitch with numerous superstars including Stephen Appiah, Michael Essien, and Sulley Muntari, singled out the former Inter Milan player as his preferred teammate.

Speaking about his choice, Gyan highlighted Asamoah’s humour and camaraderie, stating, “There were a lot of players I played with, but Kwadwo Asamoah was my favorite teammate.

“He became my roommate. He is shy but he is very humorous. He cracks jokes a lot.”

Kwadwo Asamoah, renowned for his precise passes and set pieces, played a pivotal role alongside Gyan during their time with the Black Stars.

Their partnership contributed to memorable moments in Ghana football, with Kwadwo Asamoah’s assists often leading to Gyan’s crucial goals for the national team.
