Founder and leader of the All People’s Congress (APC), Dr Hassan Ayariga has issued a stern warning to the two main political parties in the country – NPP and NDC.

According to him, he is returning to run for presidency when nominations open for the 2020 general elections.

Speaking on ClassFM, the 2008 presidential candidate of the People’s National Convention (PNC) stressed that he is coming with full force to throw away the NPP and NDC.

The former presidential aspirant is making a comeback after the Electoral Commission disqualified him in 2016 over some anomalies with his nomination filing process.

Dr Ayariga said his decision to join the race was borne out of the failure of the Akufo-Addo-led New Patriotic Party’s administration to fulfil its many promises to the Ghanaian people.

Dr Ayariga is expected to announce his decision officially in the final week of September 2019.

The presidential hopeful also added that Ghanaians were fed up with the duopoly of the governing NPP and the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
