Africa-Press – Ghana. Dr Charles Osei Anto, the Chairman of the Brong-Ahafo Regional Football Association (BARFA) has urged clubs and their supporters featuring in the 2024/2025 Division Two Middle league matches to be disciplined and professional.
He said the Association would not tolerate any form of indiscipline and football hooliganism that turned to dent the image of the nation’s football.
Dr Anto gave the advice when he interacted with the 24 football clubs that had qualified and featuring in the on-going matches in Sunyani. The league matches commenced at the various match centers on May 12.
Dr Anto stressed on branding, saying each of the clubs had received 20 branded T-shirts and 20 backpacks with the BARFA logo and the club’s names, urging the clubs to wear their attire when traveling to match centers.
Additionally, he said the BARFA had provided each of the clubs with two footballs for training purposes.
