Africa-Press – Ghana. A queer character from the Wakanda Warriors, played by the Briton Michaela Coel, is coming in the film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. In an interview with Vogue magazine, the actress confirmed that her character Aneka, the captain and combat instructor of the Dora Milaj squad, had a non-traditional sexual orientation and will love ayo, played by Florence Kasumba again.

According to Koel, it was the fact that Aneka is a lesbian who motivated her to take the role of a prodigy of support for African Ghana’s LGBT community.

Koel was born and raised in East London, but was African, as do both her parents from Ghana. In the country, the legislature currently considering new legislation to allow for an up-to-date crackdown on LGBT people.
