Bryan Acheampong: ‘I’M Ready to Serve and Deliver’

Africa-Press – Ghana. Presidential Hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Bryan Acheampong has maintained that he is the candidate best positioned to unite the party, rebuild its grassroots base, provide bold, decisive leadership, and ultimately deliver electoral victory and national progress in 2028.

The Member of Parliament for Abetifi made the declaration on after formally submitting his nomination forms to contest the party’s flagbearership race.

Flanked by a cadre of supporters, party stalwarts, and regional executives, Dr. Acheampong submitted his nomination forms at the NPP headquarters in Asylum Down, signalling his serious intent to secure the party’s mantle.

Addressing journalists and cheering party faithful, Dr. Acheampong delivered a speech that wove a personal narrative of resilience with a firm promise of decisive leadership.

“I speak as a servant ready to offer himself fully once again for party, for country, for a future that must belong to all of us,” he declared, setting the tone for his campaign.

Dr. Acheampong highlighted his extensive resume, which spans roles as a grassroots activist, a policymaker, and a legislator, stating he has been tested in difficult moments and has consistently delivered.

He promised to bring decisiveness, discipline, and drive to the flagbearer contest and beyond.

“I have served faithfully in both government and party. I’ve been a grassroots activist, a politician, a policymaker, and a servant of the people in my community. I have been tested in difficult moments and I have delivered,” he said.

Central to his speech was a three-pillar policy agenda designed to address key national challenges.

He pledged to build resilient food systems to ensure year-round availability and affordability of quality food, a direct response to current economic pressures.

He also promised to unlock the potential of Ghana’s youth through entrepreneurship, digital skills, and education reform, and to deliver smart, efficient infrastructure that connects communities and boosts productivity.

Perhaps the most critical message for the party delegates in attendance was his vow to heal internal divisions and reignite the NPP’s base, which he described as the heart and soul of the party.

This pledge is seen as essential for the NPP’s strategic goal of retaining power in the 2028 general elections.

Thus, he appealed to delegates to walk with him on the journey to restore the NPP’s vibrancy and ensure victory in future elections.

He stressed that the party must prioritize unity and purpose over division and rivalry.
