Africa-Press – Ghana. The Christ Apostolic Church International is poised to complete a hospital project to aid healthcare in the country.

It has also acquired vast lands to support the government’s Green Ghana project.

This was revealed by the Chairman of the Church, Apostle Samuel Amponsah Frimpong, at the Thanksgiving Service of a seven-day Prophetic Convention in Accra.

It was an electrifying moment when thousands of church faithfuls thronged the University of Ghana to experience the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at the 2023 edition of the International Prophetic Convention.

Members clad in one church paraphernalia or another thanked God for the opportunity to experience an outdoor gathering of such magnitude in the last five years.

Speaking on the theme: ‘Led by the Pillar of Fire’, Apostle Samuel Amponsah-Frimpong said God’s intention is to give divine presence, protection, prominence and leadership to his people through the Pillar of fire and cloud.

He urged Ghanaians and the leadership of the nation to follow “the move of the spirit always and obey God’s direction for the nation else we become vulnerable”.

Chairman Amponsah-Frimpong was also upbeat about the Church’s plans for the nation Ghana.

According to him, the CAC has cut sod for a hospital project to begin soon at Kwabenya. This is to augment health care delivery in Ghana.

“We have also secured lands to support Ghana’s Green Ghana project.”

Chairman Amponsah-Frimpong called for more women to put themselves up for the forthcoming district Assembly elections.

He also called on all to “guard our peace as a nation jealously as we head to the polls come 2024”.

“I believe we will prove ourselves one more time and cooperate with relevant stakeholders to ensure a peaceful process,” he said.

Prior to this mega outdoor programme, the Christ Apostolic Church International, through its newly inducted Executive Council, led congregants nationwide to launch the celebration of the 100 years of the physical descent and manifestation of the Holy Spirit at Anum-Asamankese in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

The 2023 International Prophetic Convention will be replicated in the Northern sector from Monday, September 11 to Sunday, September 17 at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
