The Ghana Football Association has announced that various leagues in the country will start on the 28th December 2019 but the Division One league (DOL) board has proposed a later date.
Following their second meeting since their appointment, the board has unanimously agreed that the DOL should be pushed forward to the second week of the new year.
The board has proposed that the league begins on Friday January 10, 2020 subject to the approval of the Ghana FA’s Executive Council.
Even before the league commences the GFA will hold its Ordinary Congress on the 19th December 2019.
