Africa-Press – Ghana. The Entrepreneurs Foundation Ghana is set to unveil twenty-five of Ghana’s topmost entrepreneurs of All Time at the 15th edition of the Ghana Entrepreneurs Awards.
This year’s event, scheduled for Friday, August 1, 2025, will feature the introduction of thirty distinguished individuals, a novel addition to the prestigious annual awards.
The 15th anniversary celebration, on the theme, “Celebrating 15 years of Honouring Entrepreneurial Excellence”, will specifically recognize twenty-five of Ghana’s topmost entrepreneurs of All Time and five Legacy Lifetime Entrepreneurs.
These individuals have been carefully selected from a pool of over five hundred and twenty entrepreneurs who have been honoured by the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana since the awards’ inception in 2010.
The Legacy Lifetime Achievement Award and Most Influential Entrepreneurs of All Time Award will be presented to business executives who have demonstrated sustained contributions to entrepreneurship throughout their careers.
These accolades aim to acknowledge their vision, achievements, leadership, and profound impact on the business community, emphasising the lasting influence they have had in shaping industries and inspiring future generations.
The Chief of Staff at the Office of the President, Mr. Julius Debrah will serve as the Special Guest of Honour, a presence that highlights the government’s commitment to supporting Ghana’s entrepreneurial landscape.
The Ghana Entrepreneurs Awards Gala Dinner, established in 2010 by the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana, serves to network, celebrate, and honor successful entrepreneurs and business executives who have shown consistent business performance, adhered to strong corporate governance, and achieved remarkable success.
Past recipients of these awards include prominent figures such as Sir. Sam Jonah (Executive Chairman, Jonah Capital), Mr. Dan Kofi Okudzeto (Founder, Allied Ltd), Dr. Kwabena Adjei (Founder, Kasapreko Ltd), Alhaji Yusif Ibrahim (Executive Chairman, Dara Salam Group), and HRM Togbe Afede XIV (Executive Chairman, Strategic Initiatives Ltd).
Other notable past recipients include Dr. Kwabena Duffuor (Executive Chairman, HODA Holdings), Dr. Ernest Bediako Sampong (Founder, Ernest Chemists Ltd), Mr. Ghazi Azar (Managing Director, Azar Group), and Mr. Ibrahim Mahama (Chief Executive Officer, Engineers and Planners & Dzata Cement Limited).
The event is also expected to be graced by several distinguished international dignitaries, including Mr Maher Kheir, the Lebanese Ambassador; Mr Huseyin Gungor, Turkish Ambassador; Madam Juliette Bynoe-Sutherland, Barbados High Commissioner; Mr Jean Claude Galea Mallia, Maltese High Commissioner to Ghana; and Mr. Prince Kofi Amoabeng, Founder, PKA Amoabeng Leadership Foundation.
