Africa-Press – Ghana. Former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah has described Hearts of Oak as the ‘greatest club’ while welcoming Sulley Muntari to the Ghanaian champions.
Appiah, whose career started at Hearts of Oak, is excited about his former Black Stars teammate’s transfer and has wished him the best.
Muntari completed his transfer to Hearts on Tuesday and trained on Wednesday ahead of the local derby against Great Olympics this weekend.

The one-time UEFA Champions League winner has joined the Phobians until the end of the current campaign.
Muntari becomes Hearts of Oak’s third signing of the transfer window after defenders Konadu Yiadom and Dennis Korsah, having signed a two-year deal with the club.
The 37-year-old has been training with the side for the past weeks ahead of a possible move.
He was at the Accra Sports Stadium to give morale to his new club during their matchday 15 Ghana Premier League on Sunday— a game the Rainbow Boys won 1-0 courtesy Kwadjo Obeng Junior’s bullet strike.
The former Portsmouth enforcer could mark his debut for the side when they play as guests to city rivals Accra Great Olympics on Sunday.
