Africa-Press – Ghana. Turkish giants Galatasaray have opened talks with French side Strasbourg to sign Ghana defender Alexander Djiku. The 28-year-old is back in the transfer news after an earlier move to German Bundesliga club Hoffenheim broke down in this summer transfer window.
Djiku failed to join the club at the last-minute due to a high demand by his agent for commission on his transfer fee. According to reports in Turkey, Galatasaray have shown interest in signing the defender.
The team has offered four million euros to Strasbourg to sign the Ghana international which is under consideration. Strasbourg may be tempted to sell Alexander Djiku who currently has a year remaining on his current. Djiku was in action for Strasbourg in their first game of the season against Monaco which they lost by a lone goal.
