Africa-Press – Ghana. Ghana Athletics has confirmed a team of 10 outstanding athletes to compete in the upcoming Africa Schools Sports Championship.
The young contingents are poised to fly the national flag high and showcase their talent on the continental stage.
The team, comprising Darkoah Janet Kwarteng, Mensah Comfort, Ohenewaa Liticia, Eghan Christiana, Sulemana Fulera, Boateng Appiah Alex, Konadu Blessing Junior, Tettey Philip, Nunu Richard, and Papa Kweku Ayim, were drawn from the various senior high schools.
Ghana will participate in the track and field events, with Coaches Atsu Nyamadi and Yelewana Zenanta overseeing the team’s technical preparations and performance.
The championship is set to take place in Algeria from July 24 to August 1, 2025.
The Ghanaian delegation will depart Accra on July 23, fully prepared and motivated to make the nation proud.
