Africa-Press – Ghana. Ghana defender, Daniel Amartey, has started contract extension talks with English Premier League side Leicester City with six months left on his current deal.
The 27-year-old has been an important player for the Foxes this season following his versatility in defence for Leicester City.
With the Premier League on a two weeks break, the Ghana international has opened contract talks and he is expected to pen a new deal before the window closes.
Having battled a series of injuries since moving to England, the ex-FC Copenhagen player is having his best campaign with the King Power outfit.
This season, Daniel Amartey has made 17 appearances across all competitions for Leicester City.
Amartey was a member of the Black Stars team at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, playing in all three games as Ghana exited the tournament at the group stage.
