Africa-Press – Ghana. Medeama and King Faisal will have to continue their match on Thursday morning to decide the winner of the Ghana Premier League encounter.
This is after the match was stopped on Wednesday, owing to the heavy rains that pounded Tarkwa leaving the match venue – Akoon Park – to reach an unplayable condition.
After 27 minutes of action, the heavens opened up, forcing the match referee to call off the tie after assessing the situation of the venue.
“Our GPL Wk22 fixture against King Faisal FC has been called off due to heavy downpour.”
“The game has been rescheduled to Thursday, March 31 at exactly 9 am,” Medeama tweeted.
