Africa-Press – Ghana. Ghana striker Felix Afena-Gyan hopes to make his European debut when Roma hosts Bodo/Glimt in the second leg of their Europa Conference League quarter-finals clash at Stadio Olimpico.
Roma were defeated 2-1 in the first leg in Norway, but the Italians are confident of overturning the deficit in Rome and progressing to the competition’s last four.
Meanwhile, Bodo/Glimt are unbeaten against Roma. They have two wins, including a 6-1 victory in the group stage earlier this season. The result stunned the football world, as it was Jose Mourinho’s heaviest defeat as a manager.
Afena-Gyan was an unused substitute in the first leg but is expected to play on Thursday night after starting the previous game in Serie A against Salernitana.
Positive vibes.
