Africa-Press – Ghana. Ghanaian youngster Alidu Seidu has been named in the Ligue 1 team of the week following his outstanding display for Clermont Foot against Olympique Marseille.
The 21-year-old starred as the newcomers shocked the French giants at the Stade Velodrome on Sunday.
Seidu lasted the entire duration and recorded impressive rating as the visitors won 2-0 to go six points adrift of the drop.
According to whoscored.com, the young Ghanaian center back recorded a 7.51 rating.
Guinean forward Mohammed Bayo opened the scoring in the 13 minute before Jim Allevinah wropped up victory with seven minutes left at the Velodrome.
Compatriot Samed Abdul Salis also featured for Clermont Foot.
