Africa-Press – Ghana. Ghana-born Anderlecht winger Francis Amuzu has been rewarded for a strong Jupiler League season with maiden call-up to the Belgium national team. The Red Devils are due to face Wales on September 22 and the Netherland three days later in the Nations League.
Coach Roberto Martínez has included the Ghanaian in his squad for the first time including Anderlecht defender Zeno Koen Debast. Amuzu has been named in the Belgium pre-season squad and has been presented with an opportunity to stake a claim in the team. The winger, born in Ghana, has represented Belgium at the U19 and U21 levels.
