Africa-Press – Ghana. Ghanaian forward Maxwell Baakoh has completed a transfer to Algerian club Mouloudia Club Oranais (MC Oran), signing a deal worth 300,000 euros.

The 28-year-old player joins from USM Khenchela, where he had been impressive this season, scoring four goals in 11 appearances.

Baakoh’s new contract with MC Oran will see him earning a monthly salary of 20,000 euros, making him one of the highest-paid players in Algeria. The club is hopeful that his versatility as a second striker, central attacking midfielder, and winger will help them move out of the relegation zone in the second round of the league.

Since leaving Asante Kotoko, Baakoh has played for Ceramica Cleopatra in the Egyptian Premier League and Sahab Club in Jordan. His move to MC Oran marks a significant step in his career, and he is expected to play a crucial role in the club’s quest to avoid relegation.

With 9 points in 14 matches, MC Oran are currently struggling in the league, and Baakoh’s addition is seen as a boost to their chances of survival. The club’s fans are excited about his arrival, and they believe that he can help turn their fortunes around.
