Africa-Press – Ghana. Top Ghanaian musician King Promise took the chance to meet Ghana and Southampton defender Mohammed Salisu after the game against Chelsea at the Saint Mary’s on Tuesday.
The multiple award-winning singer, who is also a Chelsea fan, watched as the Blues suffered defeat to Southampton in the English Premier League midweek fixture.
Mohammed Salisu impressed as the Saints kept the Chelsea attack at bay in the 2-1 victory.
After the game, the new Ghana defender presented a customized Southampton jersey to the ‘CCTV’ composer.
King Promise is in England to promote his new album Five Star.
Mohammed Salisu is enjoying a decent start to the new season, having featured in all five matches so far.
He is expected to make Ghana coach Otto Addo’s team for the international friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua in September.
Salisu could be included in the Ghana team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar later this year.
