Africa-Press – Ghana. Young defender Ishaku Konda has joined Czech top-flight club SK Dynamo from Ghanaian second-tier club Asokwa Deportivo.
Konda, 22, has joined Dynamo on loan until the end of the season. The club though have an option to make the deal permanent.
The transfer was sealed on February 2, with the stating Konda has been brought in to reinforce their defence.
“Excited for my new challenge SK Dynamo. Thanks for the warm welcome messages. I can’t wait to help the team achieve success and become the best version of myself,” Konda wrote on Instagram.
UK-based Ghanaian football agent Papa Agemang played a key role in the deal.
“Big thanks to my agent Papa Agyemang for making it happen,” Konda added.The Ghanaian could make his debut next weekend when Dynamo take on Hradec Kralove away from home.
Dynamo are a midtable club as they currently occupy the eighth position on the 16-club league table.
