Africa-Press – Ghana. Asante Kotoko extended their unbeaten run in the Ghana Premier League but dropped points for the second straight match after a 1-1 draw with Aduana Stars on Sunday.
Emmanuel Marfo put Aduana ahead before Lord Amoah equalised for Kotoko on the stroke of halftime. The Porcupine Warriors remain unbeaten with 16 points and two games in hand.
Hearts of Oak, beaten by Kotoko last week, were held to a goalless draw by Swedru All Blacks, who slipped into the relegation zone with eight points from 10 matches. Hearts stay fifth on 17 points.
Elsewhere, Emmanuel Abban scored twice as Bechem United beat FC Samartex 2-0 at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park. Medeama SC edged Eleven Wonders 2-1 with goals from Godknows Dzakpasu and Nana Kofi Babil, while Daniel Lomotey struck for Wonders.
Dreams FC defeated Hohoe United 1-0 at Tuba Astro Turf thanks to Jonathan Nemorden’s goal, handing the visitors their fourth loss of the season.
Basake Holy Stars and Vision FC shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw at AAK II Arena.
