Hasaacas Ladies dominate CAF Women’s Champions League Best XI

Africa-Press – Ghana. Accra, Nov, 21- Four Hasaacas Ladies FC players have been named in the best eleven players of the just ended Confederation of African Football (CAF) Women’s Champions League.

Hasaacas Ladies picked the silver medal at the tourney held in Cairo, Egypt. The players are Evelyn Badu, Doris Boaduwaa, Perpetual Agyekum who plays as a left back and Janet Egyir who also plays as a defender.

Coach Yussif Basigi’s side ended the competition with 10 goals, conceding six. Midfielder Badu contributed to the Ghanaian team’s success with five goals to end the two-week tourney as the highest goal scorer and the best player.

Forward Boaduwaa also scored one goal and gave two assists to help Hasaacas Ladies book a spot in the finals. The forward was consistent in all the matches played and created some decent chances for side.

Agyekum also scored two goals and gave three assists in the tournament. Captain of the side, Egyir was named the Woman of the match against Moroccan side ASFAR and her impressive performance put her in the best XI squad.
