Africa-Press – Ghana. The Institute of Public Relations (IPR), Ghana, says its 2025 National Public Relations Summit will take place in Takoradi in the Western Region from 13th to 15th November 2025 at the Western Atlantic Hotel.
The summit will be held on the theme: “Reimagining Public Relations in a Contemporary World,” which promises to be a landmark gathering for communication professionals across the country.
The event, regarded as IPR Ghana’s flagship annual event, serves as a platform for practitioners to exchange ideas, deliberate on the Institute’s business, and celebrate achievements in the profession.
This year’s edition will feature a rich lined-up of activities including a conference on Thursday, 13th November, which will be a forum to explore emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping the public relations and communications landscape.
There will be an annual general meeting on Friday, 14th November where members will review the Institute’s progress and set strategic priorities for the coming year.
Additionally, there will be an induction ceremony on Friday, 14th November where newly qualified members who have completed the IPR Ghana accreditation programme will be formally inducted into the institution.
There will be a Legends Night on Friday, 14th November where a mentorship programme connecting senior PR professionals with emerging practitioners.
Dr. Ekwow Spio-Garbrah will be honoured as the legend of the evening.
There will be an excellence awards night on Friday, 14th November with a celebration of innovation, integrity, and outstanding achievements in public relations.
The Special Guest of Honour for the summit is Nana Kobina Nketsia, Paramount Chief of the Esikado Traditional Area.
Speaking ahead of the event, Ms. Esther Amba Numaba Cobbah, President of IPR Ghana, highlighted the significance of the summit; saying: “The National PR Summit is more than a professional gathering; it is a moment of reflection, renewal, and rededication to the values that define our profession.
“As communicators, we must continue to innovate and lead with integrity, ensuring that our work strengthens connection, understanding, and progress in society.”
