Africa-Press – Ghana. The Youth Wing of the Islamic Mission Secretariat (IMS) is set to hold its 2026 Annual Youth Camp at Bonsu in the Nkoranza South Municipality of the Bono East Region from April 2 to April 5, 2026.
A statement issued and signed by Fuseini Alhassan, in Sunyani, said activities outlined for the event include community outreaches, capacity-building programmes, as well as recreational and educational competitions.
The three-day camp will be held on the theme: “Youth and Technology: Navigating the Digital Age with Islamic Values” and is expected to attract traditional authorities, public officials, and Members of Parliament.
The statement said Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, Minister for Trade and Industry and Member of Parliament for Techiman North, is expected to address the opening session.
Other invited dignitaries include Martin Agyei Mensah Korsah, Member of Parliament for Techiman South; Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum, Member of Parliament for Nkoranza South; and Joseph Mensah, Member of Parliament for Nkoranza North.
Also expected are Sheikh Harun Ahmed Appau, IMS National President; Alhaji Musa Asante, IMS National Chairman; Professor Mustafa Opoku, IMS General Secretary; and Sheikh Abdul Mumin, Bono Regional Manager of the Islamic Education Unit.
