Mr Nelson Kofi Djabab, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Krachi East, has extended his deepest sympathies to the government, the military, and the entire nation, following the tragic military helicopter crash that claimed the lives of five government officials and three military officers.
The dead include Dr Edward Omane Boamah, Defence Minister and Dr Ibraahim Murtala Mohmmed, Minister of Environment, Science and Technology.
In a heartfelt message, the MP acknowledged the immense loss the country has suffered, describing it as a painful blow to the nation.
“We’re not just mourning the loss of individuals; we’re mourning the loss of dedicated public servants who worked tirelessly for the betterment of our nation,” he added.
Mr Djabab prayed for the repose of the souls of the departed, comfort and strength for the bereaved families. “May God grant them the strength to cope with this immense loss and may their memories live on in our hearts.”
