Mahama Appoints General Oppong-Preprah and 17 Others

Africa-Press – Ghana. President John Dramani Mahama has announced the appointment of 18 new deputy ambassadors, including General Thomas Oppong-Preprah (rtd), a former Chief of Defence Staff as Ghana’s Deputy High Commissioner to Canada.

A letter from Dr Callistus Mahama, Executive Secretary to the President in a letter address to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, announced the appointment of the 18 new deputy ambassadors.

The list includes Dr Palmer Appiah-Gyan, Germany; Madam Francisca Patoah Gyarko, Switzerland; Mr Ben Dotsei Malor, United States; Dr Harry Zevon, China; Mr Sulemana Ibun Iddrissu, India and Mr Aquinas Quansah, United Kingdom.

Others are Mr George Harrison, South Korea; MadamJamilatu Amadu, United Arab Emirates; Mr Emmanuel Netsey-Afedo, the Netherlands; Madam Sophia Karen Edem Ackuaku, Italy; Mr Francis Thalamus Doe, Japan; and Mr Sanni Jajah, Saudi Arabia.

The rest are Mr Kwadwo Agyei-Dwomor, Türkiye; Mr Emmanuel Kamban Panyan, Russia; Alhaji Mohammed Seidu Issah Abah, South Africa; Mr Mohammed Ibn Abass, Egypt and Reverend Dr Isaac Clive Mould, Denmark.
