Africa-Press – Ghana. PSV is set to offload Ghanaian defender Derrick Luckassen in the summer.

The 26-year-old is currently on loan at Turkish club Fatih Karagümrük from Eredivise side PSV.

Luckassen has made 19 appearances since joining the Turkish team this season.

With just a season to end his contract with PSV, Fatih Karagümrük have been impressed with his performance and are interested in making his stay permanent.

However, Derrick Luckassen still has the ambition to play at high level and his agent is working on getting him a top club in the summer.

PSV are not interested in selling the defender to any rival in the Eredivisie.

Luckassen was bought by PSV from AZ in 2017 and then signed for five years.

His contract was then extended once for a season, which means that he is now fixed until mid-2023.

The center-back joined the Eredivisie side two seasons ago from AZ Alkmaar for a fee of €5 million but has failed to make the expected impact.
