Real Betis announce partnership with Alchemy Pay

Africa-Press – Ghana. La Liga club Real Betis have partnered up with Alchemy Pay (ACH), the world’s leading fiat-crypto payment gateway.

The new partnership kicked off in style when Alchemy Pay’s sponsored displays surrounded the pitch at Estadio Benito Villamarín during the 2-1 home win over Mallorca in La Liga on 20 February.

Looking forward, it will bring ongoing global brand exposure to Alchemy Pay during Betis’ future home matches, including upcoming La Liga fixtures with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

Alchemy Pay will also receive exclusive merchandise and player-created items.

The company was established in Singapore in 2018 and stands to raise the profile of Betis in Asia and help the club reach a new audience, while Alchemy Pay’s fiat-crypto payment network already has more than two million touchpoints with merchants in 70 countries.

The network connects crypto and OTC exchanges with global remittance companies to enable online and offline merchants to accept crypto and fiat payments, with this partnership an indication of rapid expansion and Alchemy Pay’s ability to bring its brand and solutions to the mainstream.

Alchemy Pay CEO, John Tan, said of the partnership, “We are delighted to be supporting one of Europe’s top teams.

Real Betis are having a fantastic season and we look forward to a synergistic relationship that builds supporters and brand awareness for ourselves and for Real Betis across the world.

The partnership may be new but we are already looking towards creative initiatives with them in the future.

A spokesperson for Real Betis added, “Cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is the future and Real Betis is excited to explore possibilities for ourselves and our fans.

Partnering with one of crypto’s top projects is an exciting opportunity to build relationships in the industry.

Alchemy’s success is being mirrored on the field by Betis, who at the time of writing are third in La Liga and chasing down a place in next season’s Champions League.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side are also into the latter stages of the Europa League, facing German outfit Eintracht Frankfurt over the coming weeks for a place in the quarter-finals, and are on course to reach the Copa del Rey final.
