Africa-Press – Ghana. As a result of Franck Kessie’s imminent departure, AC Milan need to bring in a midfielder this summer and Renato Sanches has been linked with the club a lot. While not a clear-cut replacement, he’s close to joining the club.
In the last few months, many have suggested that Sanches is the perfect replacement for Kessie this summer. However, the reality is that they are quite different in terms of playing style, which is why the Portuguese man should be seen as a great reinforcement instead.
According to MilanNews, Milan are one step away from securing the arrival of Sanches, having reached an agreement with both Lille and Jorge Mendes. The transfer should cost around €20m and the player will get €4m per year, plus a sign-on bonus.
Mendes is also the agent of Rafael Leao and a positive conclusion to the Sanches talks could help Milan renew the winger’s contract. Hopefully, that will be the case.
