Africa-Press – Ghana. NewSpace Africa 2024 conference takes place in Angola’s capital Luanda on April 2-5. The event brought together over 500 delegates from 46 countries worldwide.

Space technologies will help African countries achieve the Sustainable Development Goal target of reducing the poverty rate to below 3%,” CEO of South African National Space Agency Humbulani Mudau told.

“Moreover, the South African National Space Program is a crucial player in this endeavor, contributing its expertise and resources to harness the potential of space technology for socio-economic development across the continent,” he said on the sidelines of the NewSpace Africa 2024 conference in Angola.
