Africa-Press – Ghana. Serie A side Spezia are in talks with Ghana forward Emmanuel Gyasi over a contract extension.
The 28-year-old current contract with the club expires in the summer of 2023.
Gyasi was a target for Sassuolo during the just ended winter transfer window.
Spezia Sporting director Pecini has disclosed that the club is in talks with the Ghana international on renewing his contract until 2025 with an affordable release clause.
According to reports, he will sign a contrast extension with the Serie A side but is likely to leave the club in the summer.
Sassuolo have shown interest in signing the Ghana international in the summer with talks underway between the two clubs.
Emmanuel Gyasi has made 24 appearances for Spezia this season and has found the back of the net four times.
