Africa-Press – Ghana. The New Force Movement has launched Save Ghana Fund, a project aimed at revitalizing the political climate with fresh perspectives, integrity and progressive ideals.
Ghanaians have therefore been urged to actively participate in the initiatives of the Movement, ensuring its success and safeguarding the nation’s interests.
The crowdfunding aims to reshape the relationship between government and its citizens by empowering citizens to contribute to their nation’s future.
Leader of The New Force Movement, Nana Kwame Bediako, anticipates Ghanaians to become investors in national governance, a concept he believes has been lacking in previous governments.
“This fund has three things; visible, accessible and transparent, and so every donation will be put out there. Donate to us, and we want you to make us the leader and we want to become the one that serves you. Our leadership will be based on your contribution and your voice; the media’s voice, the people’s voice, the school people’s voice, the workers, the country’s voice,” he emphasized.
Nana Kwame Bediako, pointing out flaws in Ghana’s geopolitical landscape, expressed hope in the future generation.
“Our leaders buy vote and so after buying you, they feel they are obliged to take whatever they want. This practice has been going on for many decades and this is what has grounded our economy, and our vision has never become a reality. I think I have found a solution to the problem by turning the table around. I’m here to serve you that’s why I’m giving you the opportunity to invest in me, so I listen to you and do what you want,” he stressed.

The government is an employee of the people. As funders of their own future, each citizen benefactor recalibrates the purpose of national governance towards better policies for the nation, away from policies conjured by her geopolitical and international influences.
By empowering citizens to become contributors to their own future, our initiative fundamentally reshapes the relationship between the government and its people. Each citizen benefactor becomes a catalyst for change, steering national policies towards the betterment of our nation, free from external influences and geopolitical pressures.
The leader donated a seed capital of GHC500,000 to the fund and encouraged others to join in the nation-building effort.
“Donations made will be declared and made public,” the fund managers pledged.
