Africa-Press – Ghana. Injured Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has hinted he could be back in action “soon” amid reports his season at the club is over.
The 28-year-old has not been involved since he suffered an injury in the side’s 3-0 defeat at Crystal Palace.
The midfielder has missed the Gunners’ last five Premier League games due to a thigh injury.
He was unavailable in Arsenal’s win at West Ham United at the weekend as they kept their top four hopes alives.
Manager Mikel Arteta has revealed the Ghana international may not feature again this season following the latest setback.
But the former Atletico Madrid enforcer, who has been a regular under Arteta, has broken the worrying news that he was unlikely to play again this season.

In the absence of the Ghanaian superstar, Mohammed Elneny has stepped up beautifully but Partey’s potential return will boost the Gunners Champions League hopes.
Arsenal have done well so far, winning two straight games against Chelsea and Manchester United to put them in real contention for Champions League football next season.
Prior to his injury, Partey had appeared in 24 league games and contributed three goals, two of which he scored and one of which he assisted.
Partey has been plagued by injuries since joining Arsenal paid Atletico Madrid 50 million euros for his services.
According to Transfermarkt, since his Arsenal debut in October 2020, Partey has missed 26 games due to various injuries.
