The US Embassy in Accra has donated a cow, galloon of oil and
bags of rice to the National Chief Imam Sheik Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu on the
occasion of this year’s Eid Mubarak celebration.
The donation was made at the Imam’s Fadama residence on
Sunday, where the US Ambassador to Ghana, Stephanie Sullivan paid him a visit.
She personally wished the National Chief Imam a blessed Eid al-Adha.
During the visit, the envoy underscored that the US Embassy was pleased to partner with the Chief Imam and Ghana’s many other religious leaders to advance their shared goals of peace, security and economic growth.
