Africa-Press – Ghana. Ghana midfielder Daniel Kofi Kyereh was on target for St Pauli in their 3-1 win over Karlsruher SC in the German Bundesliga II on Saturday.
The 25-year-old continues with his impressive run after his injury return for the club.
Kyereh put his side in the lead in the 14th minute after striking from a rebound to open the scoring.The Ghana international doubled the lead for St.Pauli in the 25th minute with a tap in as he registered his ninth goal of the campaign.Simon Makienok extended the lead for StPauli in the 35th minute as the home side scored the third goal of the game to go into the break with 3-0.
Philip Hofman reduced the deficit for Karlsruher SC in the 66th minute.
St.Pauli are currently tied up on points with league leaders Darmstadt on 47 points as they chase for promotion to the German Bundesliga.
Daniel Kofi has now scored nine goals in 22 appearances and also making nine assists.
His performance in recent weeks is a boost for the Black Stars ahead of this month’s World Cup playoff against Nigeria.
