Africa-Press – Ghana. Ghana midfielder Daniel Kofi-Kyereh netted another beautiful goal from a set piece in St Pauli’s DFB Pokal defeat to Bundesliga side Union Berlin.
The Black Stars player whipped in a well worked out freekick to give the Bundesliga promotion chasers the lead, but Shelado Becker and Andreas Voglsammer scored to secure victory to Union Berlin.
It was the second successive freekick scored by the Ghanaian.
The goal was Kyereh’s 8th of the season as he closes in on double figures for the first time since 2018/19.
That season, the German-born scored 19 goals in the third division for SV Wehen Wiesbaden.
The 25-year-old has been in terrific form since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations and recovering from a muscle problem.
