Africa-Press – Ghana. Voting is progressing steadily in the National Democratic Congress’ Tamale Central Constituency Parliamentary Primaries to elect a Parliamentary Candidate for the constituency.
A total of 1,551 delegates are expected to cast their ballots to elect one out of the 12 aspirants for the upcoming Parliamentary by-election in the constituency.
High numbers of Police officers have been deployed to the venue where thorough checks are conducted, with additional officers stationed at the four polling centres designated for the elections.
The atmosphere remains calm with fewer people in the queues as delegates cast their votes in turns.
