Eximbank to finance sewage treatment plants in Ghana

Magyar Eximbank will finance the construction of sewage treatment plants in two regions of Ghana, according to origo.hu.

The plants will be planned and constructed by the Pureco-Unit Consortium for the Jospong Group of Companies. They will be built in areas in which less than 10% of sewage is treated. Hungarian-owned Pureco has installed sewage treatment technology at the Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden, Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport, the Daimler plant in Kecskemét (90 km southeast of Budapest) and the Thyssenkrupp plant in Debrecen (225 km east).

The company had a turnover of HUF 4.6 billion in 2019, including more than HUF 400 bln from exports.
