is believed to permit the party and bereaved family ample time to mourn their Lost one.

Chairman of the NDC, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo made this disclosure when he visited the bereaved family at Ashaiman last Wednesday to sympathize with them.
The
53-year-old Mr. Max-Voy, commonly called Martin Luther, a parliamentary aspirant for the Ashaiman Constituency on the ticket of the opposition NDC died suddenly after he had picked and filed nomination forms to contest in the party’s
forthcoming primaries scheduled for this month.
Family
Spokesperson, Mr. Nathaniel Kofi Fiador, who confirmed the death on Monday, 5 August 2019 in a statement, debunked claims that Mr Max-Voy passed away at the Ridge Hospital on Sunday 4 August 2019 “after a short illness”.
The
family continued that the parliamentary aspirant, who was a member of the Finance Committee of the party in the Greater Accra Region “did not die through kidney failure”.
According
to him the family is yet to meet and discuss plans for burial and funeral rites of their son.
Meanwhile,
a book of condolence was opened to the general public at the Martin Luther King Jr. School, Lebanon branch and New Happy Home Academy, Ashaiman New-Town from 6 August to 10 August 2019.
