Ghanaian midfielder Alhassan Wakaso has gained shape and strength after making his second appearance for Vitoria Guimaraes since his return from a long injury la-off.

The 26-year-old played his second match for the side in their 1-1 stalemate against Belenenses last week.

After returning to the competition last month, the Ghanaian midfielder has used and continues to show power and quality.

He was an unused substitute as Vitoria Guimaraes lost 3-1 at home to Rio Ave at the weekend.

The Ghanaian midfielder had been on the sidelines for close to two years with a knee problem.

The younger brother of Black Stars midfielder Mubarak Wakaso returned to Portugal in 2018 after a tough spell in France with FC Lorient.

In the 2018/19 season, Wakaso made 30 appearances in the Portuguese league, scoring two goals
