Kelvin Yeboah: Ghana legend Anthony Yeboah’s nephew handed maiden Black Stars call up

Ghanaian forward Kelvin Yeboah has been handed his first call-up to the Black Stars for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Black Stars Coach Akonnor named the youngster in his provisional squad for the doubleheader against Ethiopia and South Africa next month.

The 21-year-old has been in top form at club level for Sturm Graz scoring two goals in three games in the Austrian Bundesliga this season.

The former TSG Wirol bagged a brace to help Sturm Graz record a 3-1 win against Altach in the Austrian Bundesliga last Saturday.

The youngster who is the nephew of former Ghana international Tony Yeboah is hoping to follow in the foot steps of the legendary striker.

Ghana will take on the Walias of Ethiopia at the Cape Coast stadium on Friday, September 3, before playing South Africa on Monday, September 6, 2021 in Johannesburg.
