PHOTOS: Ghana’s Black Stars B travels to Tashkent for friendly against Uzbekistan

The national team of Ghana made up of home-based players has traveled to Tashkent to honour a friendly match against Uzbekistan during the international break.

Leagues around the world are expected to break after this weekend to allow for national teams of countries to play various matches.

As reported last Thursday by Modernghana Sports, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has reached an agreement with Uzbekistan that will see the Black Stars B team play a friendly match with the national team of the Asian country on Friday, March 26, 2021.

On Saturday night, a continent of 20 players and management members of the Ghana team departed Accra to Uzbekistan for the upcoming clash.

Coach for the side, Ibrahim Tanko will use the match to assess players for future competitions and also make recommendations to handlers of the Black Stars.
