Africa-Press – Ghana. Bishop Dr Richard Owusu Akyeaw, the Founder of the Living Grace Ministries International has urged Ghanaians to prioritise their health by undertaking consistent medical check-ups.
He said regular medical check-ups remained essential for health guarantee and early detection of various health problems.
Bishop Akyeaw gave the advice when speaking at the 2025 Annual Convention of the Church held at Fiapre in the Sunyani West Municipality on the theme: “kingdom revolution”, attended by pastors of the various branches of the church nationwide.
He advised Christians in particular to be concerned about the health and general well-being and always seek medication care when they fell sick.
“Many people boast of not visiting health facilities for years but likens them to living dead due to neglecting their health,” he stated, saying, regular medical check-ups guaranteed one’s health and wellbeing.
“It is among this and a number of reasons that the Living Grace Church has invested in building health clinics within its premises to provide easy access to healthcare service delivery for members and the broader communities,” the Minister of God stated.
Bishop Akyeaw advised Church members especially those above 30 years to endeavour to visit the clinic whenever they attended service to check their health and know their condition.
“Early detection and treatment of diseases can prevent many needless deaths”, he stated, saying “medical check-ups enable us to identify potential health risks and take proactive measures”.
He said good health remained essential to worship God and fulfil one’s purpose in life, advising that “let’s prioritize our health and body because it is a precious gift from God and by taking care of our bodies, we can live a life that honours God”.
