Africa-Press – Kenya. The government has announced 481 jobs in various ministries and state departments. A notice by the Public Service Commission seen by the Star said qualified individuals have until September 5, 2023, to submit their applications.
“Interested and qualified persons are required to make their applications online through the Commission website or jobs portal so as to reach the Commission on or before September 5, 2023 (Latest 5 pm East Africa Time,” the Commission CEO said. Details of the open jobs can be accessed on the PSC website.
The Ministry of Internal Security and National Administration is seeking to recruit the services of 63 individuals to fill the positions of senior deputy County Commissioner I and II, senior deputy Government Chemist, deputy Government Chemist and assistant Government Chemist.
It also seeks to fill the positions of deputy director of Laboratory Services and Senior Principal Laboratory Technologist. The National Treasury and Planning seeks to hire a Director of Investment and Internal Auditor General.
The Foreign Affairs ministry will hire services of 25 individuals in the positions of Deputy Director Foreign Service/Minister- Counsellor I and Assistant Director, Foreign Service/Counsellor I.
State Department for Transport will hire six individuals, State Department for Publics Works 18, State Department for Housing and Urban Development 16, and the State Department for Crop Development will be seeking to fill 98 vacancies.
The State Department for Livestock Development will hire 91, State Department for Industry three, State Department for Culture and Heritage 40, State Department for ASALs and Regional Development eight, while the State Department for Broadcasting and Telecommunication will hire 117 people.
